Lesson

Jezebel attacked the prophets of the LORD. A hundred of them hid from her in caves, and even the famous Elijah ran for his life and ended up in a cave at Horeb. She worked behind the king, and the prophets she kept were her own, four hundred and fifty of Baal and four hundred of the groves, fed at her table.

Elijah's successor, Elisha, was not afraid. He sent a young prophet to anoint Jehu, and Jehu rode straight to her tower. In her final moments before her death, she "painted her face," AKA put on makeup, and did her hair. You can see where her priorities were. Then she looked out the window, and Jehu looked up and asked one question.

Three men answered the call, eunuchs, castrated, and the story does not say this directly, but I believe these men answered the call because they could not be seduced by her, because they literally could not have sex.

I am sure you have heard of the spirit of Jezebel. She is alive today, still working to kill prophets of God and turn them to other gods. She claims to be a prophetess, spiritual, enlightened. I hate to be so brash, but it is often the new age people trying to blend other gods into the worship of our one true God, found through Yeshua.

Yeshua (Jesus) comes back in Revelation with fire in his eyes and says he has this against you: you tolerate that woman. Then he says he will kill her children.

This is gnarly. The human Jezebel was thrown out of a window and the dogs ate her so completely that her corpse could not be identified.

Then our Lord returns and says he will kill all her children, her followers, in the final days. This is no joke. She works through seduction, and often behind a king, a strong man. Do not be seduced, do not serve her gods, and do not be tricked by her. Stand firm against any new age astrology, tarot, Hinduism, yoga, any of it. And in your daily life, throw her down. Because Jesus himself is asking, why do you tolerate her?

We hope this song helps you identify the Jezebel in your life. She is often beautiful, working behind the power of a strong man, forging documents and otherwise, seducing people into sexual sin and the worship of false gods, and she is often working inside the church. When Jehu rode in, the king asked him if he came in peace, and Jehu answered, "What peace can there be, so long as the whorings and the sorceries of your mother Jezebel are so many?" How can there be peace in your life or your church while Jezebel reigns?
